Review of Mike Huckabee's RNC Speech
**Warning....liberal political content ahead.**

My comments from Reverend Mike Huckabee's speech last night. Thoughts on Palin coming soon; am I the only one who thinks her voice sounds like a character from Saturday Night Live?

Back to Huckabee.

Transcript of Mike Huckabee's speech found here:

Things that made me crazy during his speech:

"The reporting of the past few days have proven tackier than a costume change at a Madonna concert."

Funny. Not.

"It was — it was, in fact, the founder of our party, Abraham Lincoln, who reminded us that a government that can do everything for us is the government that can take everything from us."

Nice scare tactic, Reverend.

"Let me make something clear tonight: I’m not a Republican because I grew up rich. I’m a Republican because I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life poor, waiting for the government to rescue me."

I am completely offended by this. How dare you accuse me of not working hard and simply waiting to be rescued. Jerk.

"John McCain — John McCain is by far the most prepared, the most experienced, and truly the most tested presidential candidate. He is thoroughly tested."

Really? Because he was shot down? I honor the man's service, but how does that one moment qualify him over anyone else to be president?

And the whole desk story was lame.

The end.

No, actually I've already heard someone else refer to her as the Evil Star Trek version of Tina Fey. Love Tina Fey. Very disturbed by the (seemingly accurate) comparison.
