Normal

I've become accustomed to freaking out when the cardiologist's office calls. In the last 4 years it has not once been good news. Not once. R had an echo cardiogram done yesterday to give the doctor a baseline post-op one to review, then to base the future ones on. The tech said yesterday that it looked good, but they've been wrong before.

The office just called. The echo was normal. No leakage. And yes, normal is a different kind of normal, but still.

Holy crap, I'm so relieved I have goosebumps.
